Mikel Ennis

In 2009 Simon & Schuster published a teen novel titled The Summer I Turned Pretty. On the cover are the faces of three teenagers with the sun to their backs. Between two boys stands an incredible young girl starring into the camera. She is the beautiful model Mikel Ennis. And she is all warm smiles and freckled cheeks.

The Tampa native (born March 23, 1992) was discovered at an open call on vacation in Miami, Florida and now works with Ford models in New York. She's been in advertising for Abercrombie and Fitch, Kohl's, and various other companies.

We're also pleased to announce that the 20-year-old Mikel was married May 26 of this year to Robby Dyer. Her full name is now Mikel Ennis Dryer. Congradulations Mikel!

Nalani Ravelo, Part 2

Once again we feature the lovely Nalani Ravelo, who is originally from Hawaii. Over the past 2 years she's been traveling the world, modeling in major cities such as Tokyo, Miami, Los Angeles, and New York. In recent months she's modeled quite a bit for Kohl's, which is where most of these photos originate.

There's so many good images of her, it's hard to narrow them down, but we've tried our best. She's also photographed with a few newcomers to the modeling scene, like Kalli Dangerfield and Rachel Hilbert. We'd love to see more work from them. "Aloha!"

Rachel Serrano

Rachel Serrano of Wilhelmina Models is one of those rare unforgettable beauties--once you see her, you'll never forget her. The 20-year-old Miami native has been modeling since she was 16 after being discovered at a model search convention. In October 2008 she signed with Whilemina Models. “After I started modeling I hated it,” she says. “I would go to castings and go home and start crying. . . I wanted to go to a party, go eat dinner with my friends but no, I couldn’t because I had work.”

Her first real modeling job came from Kohl’s in early 2009. The 5'9" stunner has since modeled for Aeropostale, Payless, Nordstrom, Kohl’s, Garage.ca, and GUESS.

“Now that I am older and I understand, I’m thankful for [modeling],” she says. “I’m thankful that I have opportunities to see how other people live and experience a different lifestyle.”

With a full career in modeling, she still has time for her studies at Miami Dade College, majoring in education. Rachel has taken her new-found fame in stride. “This is what you see on TV. I’m living the lifestyle that girls wish they could live.”
