Jenna Spilde

In 2005 NBC aired the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search. The short-lived reality series took 12 aspiring models and through a series of photo shoots, gave them a chance to compete and impress the judges. The winner would be featured in the magazine and get a million-dollar modeling contract with NEXT.

Of all the models on the show, our absolute favorite was Jenna from Texas. Even though in the end she didn’t make it to the end, we cheered her on throughout the show. With great surprise and delight, we enjoyed seeing her in print ads over the years for several department stores like JCPenney and Belk. We’ve loved her all these years and always planned to feature her on the blog.
